A
reprint is usually an article, chapter, or other portion of a previously published
larger work, that is reproduced and issued separately, standing alone from
the larger work. A reprint may also be a new printing of an edition of an
entire work, or a new edition printed from a new setting of type, for which
the an impression of a previous edition has been used as a copy. A back issue
is a single issue of a serial publication preceding the current issue. A back
file is a set or file of old issues or volumes of a serial.
