In 2007, CIAO begun publishing quarterly-updated political and economic information from the Economic Intelligence Group.

Columbia Granger's World of Poetry, http://www.columbiagrangers.org, extensively redisigned in September 2007, will enable searching through 220,000 full text poems by era or school, nationality, publication date, language, cultural identity and gender. Their innovative split screen option enables users to view works side-by-side for comparison. Their hierarchically organized 6000+ subjects facilitates more intuitive browsing. also, if so equiped, listen to poetry being read in their audio room.

Columbia Gazetteer of the World, http://www.columbiagazetteer.org is an unrivalied encyclopedia of the world with information on over 170,000 places and features around the globe. New entries are being added on an ongoing basis is is the updating and expansion of existiong entries. New content includes maps and, for the United States, historical population figures at the state and county levels. Results can be downloaded into Excel or GML (Geographic Markup Language).

Columbia Earthscape, http://www.earthscape.org. Columbia Earthscape is a comprehensive aggrigation or resources in the Earthand Environmental Sciences. Four sections of the compass provide the teacher, student, scientist, or decision-maker instant access to the tools you need to understand our planet and how the environment and society affect each other.
