Offers the Area Resource File(ARF), a county-level database containing over 7,000 variables for each county in the United States. The ARF is designed to be used by planners, policymakers, researchers, and other professionals interested in geographically-based data that is aimed toward professional staff that are concerned with the nation's health care delivery system. The database contains information regarding healthcare professionals, facilities(hospitals and HMO's), and health professional training as well as population characteristics and vital statistics; economic data (employment/unemployment data, total, per capita and median income, housing statistics). The ARF is updated annually and is available in CD-ROM, magnetic tape, optical disk and 3480 cartridge formats.
