SOLINET offers to provide FEDLINK members training in OCLC systems and products in the core service areas defined in standard OCLC/Network agreements that includes OCLC communications and access methods, searching the OCLC WorldCat database, authority files, reference databases and other files. Classes will refer to current OCLC standards and documentatio, use current OCLC software, and incorporate hands-on practice in live OCLC systems whenever possible. In addition, offer access to other classes, workshops, or special events. Training will be conducted in the SOLINET facilities and may offer on-site training at member library locations, at host library sites or regional centers and/or via distance learning technology.
