Collection Description (CRHP): This collection contains research notes and manuscripts relating to the history of Fairfax County, Va. It also includes a scrapbook of Northern Virginia history, some personal correspondence and journals, and some slides and photographs. Specifically concerning civil rights, it includes three interview transcripts of Dr. Edwin Bancroft Henderson (1883-1977), who was a powerful voice for black education in the area and involved with the civil rights movement. His wife was also interviewed for one of the interviews.
