Collection Description (CRHP): Transcript of a 42-hour interview completed under the auspices of the UCLA Oral History Program.

Collection Description (Extant): Dorothy Healey discusses her early strike activities, conflicts with authority both inside and outside the Communist Party, and her resignation from the party in 1973. See Tapes X, XII, XIV, XIX, and XX for her discussions of the civil rights movement, the Black Panther Party, and African Americans in the Communist Party and labor movement.
