Collection Description (CRHP): This collection includes 20 to 30 audio and video recordings on the history of Stax Records. It covers race relations and civil rights by dealing how Stax was an integrated company before most of Memphis and the South was integrated. However, the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., disrupted the racial harmony of Stax.
