Collection Description (Extant): From the Kentucky Oral History Commission:
"In 1983, students at Henderson County North Junior High School, under the direction of teacher Roy Pullam, began conducting videotaped interviews with prominent people in Kentucky. The original purpose of the project was to supplement state history textbooks; it has expanded to include interviews with prominent people in Henderson County and to preserve the history of Kentucky and the county. The interviews cover a broad range of subjects, including literature, education, bluegrass music, country and western music, acting, politics, medicine, journalism, law, football, basketball, and baseball."
