Collection Description (CRHP): These twenty interviews explore school desegregation in Kentucky, including the volatile period of school busing in Louisville in the 1970s. They address this topic for primarily central and northern Kentucky but at least three also address developments in Ohio. The interviews include discussion of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and Kentucky Civil Liberties Union.
