Collection Description (Extant): This collection contains 46 audio tapes, primarily of interviews collected by Anne Romaine for her unfinished biography on Alex Haley. There are also some made by the Haley Museum, lectures given by Alex Haley, and interviews of Anne Romaine herself. Primarily, the interviews are conducted by Ms. Romaine with relatives, friends, and others, including George Haley, Rodnell Collins, Dr. C. Eric Lincoln, Fred Montgomery, and many others.
