Collection Description (CRHP): Among other manuscript materials, this collection contains transcripts of speeches by Harold Washington and Andrew Brimmer, as well as the audio reel of an interview with Timuel Black.

Collection Description (Extant): This collection offers a variety of materials pertaining to African American experiences, mostly from 20th century black freedom movement groups, including the Civil Rights Movement, Black Panthers, SNCC, black cultural figures, and other Chicago-based activists. Materials include periodicals, audio reels, letters, transcripts, brochures, and clippings.
