Tri-Cities Historical Museum oral histories collection
Repository: Loutit District Library. Local History and Genealogy Department
Collection Description (CRHP): These interviews were recorded in the 1980s and 1990s and later digitized by Michigan State University. With regard to the civil rights movement, see especially the interview with Marguerite Coffey and Geraldine (Gerry) Allen.
Access Copy Note: Audio is available online at collection URL. Interviews may also be listened to in the Local History Room at Loutit District Library. CDs may also be checked out. Transcription services were provided by Michigan State University in 2006. Due to the fact that the interviews weren't transcribed locally, there are many errors in the spelling of names and places. As time permits, the staff of LDL is working to correct these errors.
