The Civil Rights History Project: Survey of Collections and Repositories
Pueblo Regional Library Western Research Room project
Repository: Pueblo City-County Library District. Western Research Room
Collection Description (Extant): From Nancy Whistler, "Colorado Oral History Guide" (1980): "The primary concern of this project is Pueblo, Pueblo County, and the Arkansas Valley. The oral history interviews are treated as a basic part of the Western Research Room's acquisition activities. The interviews that have been completed and that are planned are of two types; they either supplement existing information or record a subject area where there are no records. Interviewing began in January, 1976. The project is funded through the Pueblo Regional Library budget. The tapes are available for use in the Western Research Room of the Pueblo Regional Library" (Whistler 1980:221).
