[Interviews about the Black 14, University of Wyoming]
Repository: Wyoming State Archives
Collection Description (CRHP): In October 1969, the 14 African American players on the University of Wyoming's football team were dismissed from the team by the coach, on the day before Wyoming played Brigham Young University, when they came to the coach's office wearing armbands in support of a protest against a tenet of the LDS church which owns BYU.
