Collection Description (Extant): This collection consists of tapes and transcripts of oral history interviews conducted by students in the University of Kansas course "America in the 1960s" (History 510), which was taught by Rusty Monhollon. Subjects addressed by interviewee include everyday life, as well as the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and John F. Kennedy, the Chicago Democratic convention, racial issues, rural Kansas, the Vietnam war, and the draft.
