Repository description (CRHP): This repository houses an extensive oral history collection, and several individual interviews pertain to the Civil Rights Movement. Most notable is the I Remember Hour collection.

Repository description (extant): Mission & History

The DeKalb History Center (DHC) was initially established as the "DeKalb Historical Society" in 1947. We are the only organization dedicated to collecting, preserving and sharing the rich history of DeKalb County.

DHC is a membership based non-profit; we rely on contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations who support our mission.
