Repository description (extant): The Austin History Center identifies, acquires, preserves, publicizes, and provides access to information that documents all of Austin and Travis County, Texas. The Austin History Center serves as the official repository for the historical records of the City of Austin and as the collective memory of Austin and Travis County, Texas. We also work closely with the Office of the City Clerk
