Repository description (CRHP): The Rural Life Center has sponsored a number of interview projects with and about Black residents of rural Knox County, Ohio, including "The Community Within" in 1992-1993; other projects are currently underway. The Center also maintains the Knox County Black History Digital Archive.

Repository description (extant): The Rural Life Center at Kenyon College promotes education, scholarship, and public projects about Knox County, Ohio. In active partnership with the surrounding community, we seek to ensure the vitality of rural life in a changing society.
