Repository description (CRHP): The special collections unit of this public library houses oral history collections pertaining to Baton Rouge history with an emphasis on female participation in human rights struggles.

Repository description (extant): The East Baton Rouge Parish Library provides a collection of over a million books, thousands of magazines, and a wide selection of non-print materials to meet the interests of all the citizens it serves. Readers can find best-selling fiction as well as the classics, and a tremendous range of non-fiction books -- from history, current events, travel and biography to science, religion, languages, the arts, hobbies, and self-help.
