Notes
-  Augustine Vicari, a 24-year-old WPA worker born in Tampa, was taught this rhymed prayer by his father, who was born in Italy. It's the Italian equivalent of "Now I lay me down to sleep . . . ."
-  Ybor City, now a neighborhood within Tampa, was settled in 1886 by Cuban cigar manufacturers under the leadership of Vicente Martínez de Ybor. The cigar companies moved from Key West to avoid unionization of their workers.
-  Performance Note: "Italian Rhymed Prayer" (spoken) performed by Augustine Vicari at Ybor City, Florida, on August 26, 1939.
