-  Collector's notes: There are two versions of this alabado, recording #3929a2, from Manassa, Colorado, and recording #3933a1 from Cerro, New Mexico. In the Cerro version both the initial stanza and the tune are different. This hymn makes reference to an image of Christ, El Cristo de Mapimí, which is enshrined in the town of Cuencamé, in the state of Durango, Mexico.
-  Transcription: Oh, dulcísimo Jesús,/a ti me amparo hasta aquí,/para alabar y ensalzar/al Señor de Mapimí!/La grande misericordia/del cielo vino hasta aquí,/vino a buscar a las almas,/el Señor de Mapimí./Si de mis grandes pecados/estás en la cruz por mí,/espero me has de salvar,/el Señor de Mapimí./En jardín que allí lo vi/y veneramos aquí,/es la rosa más frondosa/del Señor de Mapimí./Entre las nueve y las diez,/el Calvario recibí,/son las tres necesidades/del Señor de Mapimí.
