- - Neither Henry Reed nor his son Neal, who joined him here on the G-harmonica, gave a name for this piece. It is "The Prisoner's Song," which became popular in the South and elsewhere after it was recorded as the B-side of "The Wreck of the Old 97" in 1924 by Vernon Dalhart (Marion Try Slaughter II).
