'94), 'Quilts: A World of Beauty', AIQ Magazine (Spring '93), 'Surface Textures' by Anita Shackleford, 'Quilting Quarterly' (Winter '92 and '97), 'The Quilt' by Marie Salazar, 'Quilter's Newsletter Magazine' (May '98)."
  • -  What was your primary reason for entering the Lands' End contest? Do you frequently enter your quilts in competition? "I enjoy competition and the Lands' End contest was a challenging one."
  • -  How long have you been making quilts? How did you learn to quilt? "I have been making quilts since 1977. I have taken some classes but I like to use books, videos, hands on and a lot of practice."
  • -  Has being a winner in the Land's End contest made a difference in your life? Has it changed the way you look at your work as a quilt maker? "Lands' End id not change the way I quilt but it did give me the encouragement to continue my quilt making."
