Japan; Mexico: Agreement Against Organized Crime and Terrorism

(Apr. 24, 2013) During his recent visit to Japan, on April 8, 2013, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe signed an agreement of cooperation comprising at least 40 points. They agreed to work together in the fight against transnational organized crime and terrorism. They also agreed to increase the energetic exchanges between the two nations, to strengthen their economic relations, and to sustain the defense of human rights and peace.
