Mexico; United States: Utah and Baja California Attorneys General Reach Agreement to Fight Crime

(Aug. 18, 2009) On August 2, 2009, the Utah and Baja California attorneys general signed an “agreement of understanding” aimed at combating “human and weapons trafficking, money laundering and Internet crimes against children.” Among the provisions is an agreement that the two states will share information on criminals who flee from the United States to Mexico and vice versa.
