Ching-chih Chen, Professor, Graduate School of Library and Information Science, Simmons College, Boston, is author and editor of over 35 books and 180 scholarly journal articles. Her major area of research is digital library research and development. She is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and was a member of the Presidential Information Technology Advisory Committee (1998-2002). Her awards include: Outstanding Information Science Teacher from the American Society of Information Science; LITA/Gaylord Award for Achievement in Library and Information Technology; and the LITA/HiTech Literature Award.
