What/For Whom

The Association of Book Group Readers and Leaders (AGBRL) is a cooperative information clearinghouse to provoke, inspire, and reward individual readers and members of book discussion groups. With over 500 members in 40 states and six foreign countries, the association also facilitates access among reading group members both nationally and internationally.Workshops and discussion groups conducted by the association focus on helping readers get more out of the experience of reading and on the dynamics of book groups.

Publications

Reverberations, news journal issued three times a year and The Reading Group Handbook(Hyperion, 1994).
