corporate body names, seriality, uniform titles, and multi-volume/multiple
part works in which several sub-themes will be highlighted and discussed
with the expectation that the groups will present recommendations
to the final plenary session. Approximately 60 invited participants
are expected to actively work in groups to discuss these matters.
The role of the national representatives and representative for
the rules used in each country will be to lead a discussion on these
topics within that country prior to and following the meeting. The
representatives are expected to present those viewpoints and recommendations
during the working group sessions and to work towards global harmonization
for the development of an international cataloging code.
