Effective Oct. 30, 2000, the new public service hours for the Law Library of Congress are 8:30 a. m. to 5:00 p. m., Monday through Saturday.
A thorough review of user service concluded that in-person use of the Law Librarys collections and services occurs between core business hours. As a result, evening hours on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday have been suspended.
