The Year in Review
The Special Issue
The year 2002 marked the launch of the National
Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program, the second
annual National Book Festival, the 25th anniversary of the Center for
the Book, and the Juilliard String Quartet's 40th anniversary as the
Library's quartet-in-residence. In addition, the Library's yearlong
effort to document the 2001 terrorist attacks on America culminated
with a multimedia exhibition titled "Witness and Response: September
11 Acquisitions at the Library of Congress."
