Guide to Astronomy Resources On the Web Available Online

Astronomy is the subject of the newest "Selected Internet Resources in Science and Technology" guide prepared by the Science Reference Section of the Library's Science, Technology and Business Division. The guide lists selected Web resources in astronomy in several categories, including Planetary Resources (for our solar system and others), Near-Earth Objects (NEOs), Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI), Observatories and Electronic Magazines. Recreational learning resources are also included.

Previously issued Web resource guides cover topics such as molecular biology, bioinformatics and women in science, technology and medicine, as well as other areas of research interest. A number of these guides are available free of charge in hard copy in the Science and Business Reading Room, located on the fifth floor of the Library's Adams Building on Capitol Hill, and all of them are accessible online at www.loc.gov/rr/scitech/resources.html.
