Searching for Good News in the Stacks of the Library

CBS correspondent Steve Hartman, seated, and CBS "Sunday Morning" producer Mary Raffalli comb through the nation's big-city and small-town newspapers looking for "good news" to feature on Nov. 27, the Sunday following Thanksgiving Day.

The CBS team had requested 25 to 30 titles, and Georgia Higley, head of the Newspaper Section, and her staff served hundreds of papers throughout the day. "This is the only place in the country that has all these papers in one place," Higley said.
