Reading-Promotion Partners Share Ideas at Meeting

The National Endowment for the Arts, a reading-promotion partner of the Center for the Book, created the Big Read project to encourage citizens to read and discuss a single book within their communities. Among the titles suggested are “To Kill a Mockingbird.” The NEA also conducts surveys about the state of reading in America, such as “Reading at Risk.”
