The Science and Technology Division announced an addition to its Select List series, Selected Engineering Information Resources (SL94-1) is now available on the Internet.
The engineering information resources are those registered in the National Referral Center Masterfile, a database of schools, libraries, state and federal government agencies, commercial groups and associations.
Records contain the name, address and phone number of the source, plus data on subject specialization.
Because of length, the publication is not available in print. Electronic access is through a gopher client or server by pointing to marvel.loc.gov, port 70. Select item 13, and search for "Select Engineering."
