'Creating French Culture' Open Sundays

Through the support of private donors, the exhibition "Creating French Culture: Treasures from the BibliothÅ que Nationale de France" will be open special hours on Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. The rest of the Library will remain closed on Sundays. The exhibition will be on view Sept. 8 through Dec. 31, Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be closed on federal holidays.

The exhibition will be on display in the Southwest Gallery and Pavilion of the Thomas Jefferson Building, 10 First Street S.E., across from the U.S. Capitol. The West Front doors of the Jefferson Building will be open for the duration of the exhibition. Tickets are required to enter the exhibition. Free, same-day passes will be available at the Library outside the exhibition space. Advance tickets are available, for a handling/mailing charge, from Ticketmaster.
