The Library of Congress Federal Research Division has issued the latest volume in a series of country studies published under an agreement with the U.S. Department of the Army: Turkey: A Country Study, edited by Helen Chapin Metz.
The series consists of 109 titles and covers approximately 143 sovereign states and 15 dependencies. All books in the series are hardbound and contain maps, charts, photographs, tables, chapter bibliographies, a glossary, and an index.
Over 1 million copies of the books in the series have been sold by the Government Printing Office, and more than 200,000 copies have been distributed to depository libraries throughout the United States.
