Schedule of Concerts from the Library Goes Online with Web Site

The Library of Congress concert series leaps into cyberspace this season with its new home page. Modeled after the 1996-97 season brochure, the concert home page includes the entire season at a glance. In addition, each event has its own link to repertoire and artist information, and it can be accessed from the concert home page with just a click of the mouse. The address of the concert home page is http://www.loc.gov/rr/perform/concert/.

The Library's concert home page can be accessed from the Library of Congress main home page at http://www.loc. gov/.

To access the concert home page from the Library's web site, click on "Special Programs." Scroll down the "Special Programs and Services" page and click on the "Library of Congress Concert Series."

All Library of Congress concerts at the Terrace Theater of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts are free and open to the public, but tickets are required and must be picked up in person. They cannot be reserved by e-mail or by telephone. Ticket distribution will begin at 6 p.m. in the lobby of the Terrace Theater, 90 minutes before concert time. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with two general admission tickets per patron. In addition to our new home page, information about the concert series can be obtained by calling the concert line at (202) 707-5502.
