The American Library Association recently held its Annual Conference in Washington, June 27-June 30. With the support and cooperation of ALA, the Library hosted many events for attendees, including the All Conference reception, tours of the Thomas Jefferson Building, the inaugural banquet, and other events. Other activities, such as the "Exploring LC" programs, will be covered next month. Following are reports on some of those activities.

The Library's exhibit booth at the Washington Convention Center featured the National Digital Library, U.S. Copyright Office, Cataloging Distribution Service, Center for the Book and National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. A hanging banner highlighted the Library's new Bicentennial logo. - Oscar and Associates Inc.
