ALA Comes To Washington
LC Hosts Many Events

The American Library Association recently held its Annual Conference in Washington, June 27-June 30. With the support and cooperation of ALA, the Library hosted many events for attendees, including the All Conference reception, tours of the Thomas Jefferson Building, the inaugural banquet, and other events. Other activities, such as the "Exploring LC" programs, will be covered next month. Following are reports on some of those activities.
