    Everett Strait Hughes map collection Everett Strait Hughes was a colonel in the artillery of American Expeditionary Force in World War I. During World War II, he served closely with Dwight D. Eisenhower, the Allied Supreme Commander in Europe.     Aaron Schoen World War I map collection Aaron Schoen was a Second Lieutenant in the American 3rd Division, 18th Field Artillery during World War I. He was attached to a French unit to study their methods of ballon and airplane observation. He marched into Germany with the French, and the maps document their advance across Europe. The maps contain his annotations and included among them is a captured German map.

    Jack Eshe World War II aeronautical charts collection Jack Eshe was an American B-17 bomber pilot in World War II. He donated a collection of 13 G.S.G.S aeronautical charts of Great Britain, France, and Germany. The charts were published during the war.
