Hi, my name's Erik Synnestvedt, and I've been narrating for the Library of Congress Talking Books program since 2001. In that time I've completed over 30 titles and counting. My credits include such contemporary non-fiction titles as A Question of Intent, The Cat Who Covered the World and Bringing Down the House, medical topics including Timebomb: The Global Epidemic of Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis and How to Prevent Food Poisioning, and sports titles such as The Best American Sports Writing 2001 and House of Sports (a novel for young adults). One of my favorites was a beautifully written novel entitled The Cloud Sketcher. I've narrated several titles for commercial audiobook publishing houses as well, and I'm a veteran of many radio and television voiceovers, industrial and documentary videos and have performed in a variety of films and plays, including A Midsummer Night's Dream in the role of Thisbe. I love my work as a narrator for the Library of Congress and hope to continue for a long time to come.
