A toll-free WATS line is available to registered RFB&D borrowers for book orders only; RFB&D borrower identification numbers must be given when placing an order over the WATS line; the line numbers are 800-221-4792 or 800-221-4793 and are in operation from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.
Exchange conditions:
RFB&D does not exchange materials; however, when a needed book is not available, RFB&D will send a letter to the borrower offering to record the book, providing the book falls within the educational scope of RFB&D's program. The borrower must supply RFB&D two clean, identical inkprints of the item
needed.
RFB&D records only complete, published, and copyrighted texts. RFB&D does not do partial recordings, articles, leaflets, pamphlets, magazines, journals, manuscripts, atlases, dictionaries, or other reference materials nor does it accept books to be recorded for borrowers outside of the United States.
