Includes various photographs of men laboring on the Salt River Project, Arizona, efforts such as irrigation, agriculture, and road construction. Includes school girls in cooking class and a laundry instruction class, and boys in a sewing class at Carlisle Indian Industrial School, Pennsylvania; boys in a carpentry class and the school choir from Flandreau Indian School, South Dakota; a sewing class from Bismarck Indian School, North Dakota; a group portrait of students from Mesquakie Day School (Fox), South Dakota; a Shoshone Indian School building and a Kickapoo Indian School building; and small children in night clothes "watching for Santa Claus."
