520	0		a	Photographs show the poor and ethnically diverse communities of Buffalo's Lower West Side, representing the second of four visits Rogovin made between 1984 and 1986, to re-photograph subjects he first documented in 1972. Images include portraits of African American, Italian American, Native American, Puerto Rican, and White residents. Subjects are either photographed at home with family or outside in the community. Area shops, markets, and houses are featured throughout the photographs. Rogovin also concentrates on the patrons of Night People, a homeless shelter and food bank. Rogovin and his wife, Anne appear in some pictures.
