Animation model sheet with descriptive text shows four full-length drawings of Betty Boop from the front, side, and back; six heads showing Betty exhibiting various emotions; three drawings of her hands; and text giving other hints. Betty Boop was the cute and sexy heroine of numerous animated cartoons produced between 1931 and 1939. Her image is still widely available on licensed products such as stickers and bookmarks, and she had a role in the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit. |

Date source: Because drawings feature garter and skirt above knees, this dates drawing from 1932 when Betty ceased to be a poodle and 1934 when the Production Code censorship laws forced Fleischer into a tamer look -- sw |
