Summary: Photographs show twelve residents of the Wanger Hotel for transients in San Francisco. Includes portraits of men, women, African Americans, Native Americans, couples, homosexuals, alcoholics, drug addicts, mentally ill people, a prostitute and a former prison inmate. Many portraits include handwritten comments by the residents. Some photographs include the photographer.
