Title: State of the Arts: Different News
Length: 6:49

David Tucker is a prize-winning poet and deputy managing editor at the Star-Ledger newspaper in Newark, New Jersey. In this video, Tucker discusses the intersection of poetry and the news in his work and in public life. "Journalism is about what the facts tell us," says Tucker, "and poetry is about what the facts don't tell us. Poetry is about a different kind of news."
