This item meets Preservation Directorate specifications for a long-lasting and durable product, appropriate for protecting LC collections, 2-5% alkaline reserve in all paper products.

60 pt Uni-Mat enclosures are made by attaching two 60 pt boards along one long edge with cloth tape, forming a folder. This heavy folder combined with the polyester Uni-Mat structure (#500-522) is ideal for storing large items that need more rigid support than can be offered by 40 pt folders. (Discuss with your liaison from the Conservation Office the construction and other materials needed to make this Uni-Mat.)
