This item meets Preservation Directorate specifications for a long-lasting and durable product, appropriate for protecting LC collections, 2-5% alkaline reserve in all paper products.
Thickness: 3 mil (NOTE: 2 mil is too flimsy.)
Dimensions:
- Inner dimensions of the sleeve can range in size from 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" (postcard size) to 11" x 14".
- Standard Stereo Card sizes: 3 1/2" x 7" or 4 1/2" x 7"
- Standard Postcard sizes: 3 1/2" x 5 1/2", 3 1/2" x 5 3/4", 4 1/4" x 6", 3 5/8" x 6"

NOTE: Polyester sleeve should be 1/8" larger in height and the same width as the item to be contained to allow for comfortable access in and out of the sleeve.
