Why not invite some of the ladies of Cape Breton—to join you in forming some such association as this.
“Cape Breton Cottage Industries” would sound very nicely.
I have no doubt therein you can be of great use to the poor people of the Island — by encouraging and promoting — cottage industries to utilise the dreary winter months of idleness.
I would be proud to have you organize something of this kind. We will talk it over when I come home.
