Manuscripts/Mixed Material Letter from Mabel Hubbard Bell to Alexander Graham Bell, undated
Letter from Mrs. Alexander Graham Bell to Dr. Alexander Graham Bell.
My dear Alec:
It most broke my heart to leave you. Nothing but my feeling for Mamma would have taken me. Only I wish I were better satisfied about you. I wish you would live on nothing but milk or some liquid food till all the soreness has left you.
I have nothing to say and no time now. Mr. Griffith has been most awfully nice and is staying over I am sure just to see me on the train. I have been writing Daisy about things and now my time is up. Please take care of yourself.
